ISCC is a globally recognized certification system for sustainability and carbon management. It guarantees the sustainability of materials such as biomass and recycled feedstocks by ensuring their proper management throughout the supply chain using the mass balance approach*. With this certification, Moriroku is now officially authorized to handle all ISCC PLUS certified products.

The certification obtained by Moriroku’s Chemicals Division recognizes the company’s dedication to establishing a sustainable supply chain that meets international traceability and environmental standards. This achievement strengthens transparency and reliability across the supply chain and promotes the global delivery of sustainable products.

Moriroku will continue to advance responsible corporate activities in line with international sustainability standards, contributing to the reduction of environmental impact and the realization of a resource-circulating society.

* The “mass balance approach” is a key method used when renewable or sustainable raw materials (such as biomass-derived resources) are co-processed and distributed with conventional, fossil-derived materials. This approach allows for the proportional attribution of the sustainable input materials’ properties to the final output products. Moriroku ensures responsible and transparent management by operating in strict accordance with the latest ISCC regulations and requirements.
