The Moriroku Group is committed to earning the trust of society by reducing its environmental impact, raising environmental awareness among employees, and actively engaging in activities that contribute to the community as a good corporate citizen. Furthermore, we fulfill our social responsibility by making prompt decisions, emphasizing transparency and fairness, and engaging in dialogue with all stakeholders.

Specific Efforts
Contribution to the Environment
Moriroku Group's Declaration of Forest Development
The Moriroku Group endorses the Tokushima Collaborative Forestation Project, which aims to realize a decarbonized society. On March 7, 2024, the Group made its participation official by signing the "SDGs Forestation Declaration." Going forward, the Group will engage in reforestation activities (planting of low-pollen cedar, deer-eating damage control, etc.) on an area of approximately 12 hectares while building a network with employees, local residents, schools, and forestry workers at a large-scale forest activity base in Tokushima Prefecture.
These activities will be promoted through donations to Tokushima Prefecture (Tokushima Forestry Promotion Organization). The Moriroku Group will continue these efforts while contributing to climate change countermeasures and taking a new step toward achieving the goals of the SDGs, with the long-term objective of becoming a "400-year company."
Environmental Conservation Activities in China
On March 12, 2024, Moriroku Technology‘s Wuhan site invited volunteers, mainly members of the Environmental Committee, to participate in a Chinese Government-led Tree Planting Activity. This day is China's Tree Planting Day, and we participate in this activity every year. It continues to be an important initiative for the safety of the community and the preservation of the environment, and for a sustainable future.
Community Contribution
Joint development of a rescue carrier with the University of Toyama
Moriroku Technology has donated "Shoyrier TM," a backpack-type transport device developed in collaboration with the University of Toyama to a nonprofit organization in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The device will be utilized in the event of a disaster to facilitate the evacuation of individuals requiring assistance. Based on research conducted at the University of Toyama, together we developed using know-how from Moriroku Technology, the Shoyrier is designed to quickly evacuate people in need of rescue who have difficulty evacuating on their own to a safe place and to reduce the burden of carrying them on their backs. The donation was made as a contingency plan in case of emergencies, given the high risk of earthquakes, tsunamis, and flooding due to torrential rains in the areas where the donation is being made.
Provided daily necessities and stationery to a children's home in Thailand
In December 2023, employees of Moriroku Technology Thailand visited the “Banglamung Home for Boys”, a children's facility and provided daily necessities such as shampoo and soap as well as stationery.
They also taught the children how to use fire extinguishers and conducted evacuation drill. Also, enjoyed lunch and interact with the children.
