Improved employee engagement

Moriroku Group has conducted the "MI400 Our Voice" employee awareness survey to understand the current strengths and weaknesses of the organization and clarify issues, and has set "employee engagement" and "environment for making the most of employees" as key sustainability KPIs for FY2030 with a long-term goal of 60% or more positive responses. The company has set the long-term targets of 60% or more positive responses to the key sustainability KPIs of "employee engagement" and "environment for employee development" for fiscal 2030.

From the results of the 2021 survey, we focused on the priority categories of "Respect for the individual," "Cooperation," and "Leadership," which are closely related to "Employee Engagement" and "Environment for Making the Most of Employees," and set a 10-point increase in positive responses regarding these items as a goal of the 13th Mid-term Management Plan. Until the next survey, a pulse survey (brief survey) will be conducted every year, and each workplace that receives feedback from the pulse survey results is working on actions for improvement. Excellent initiatives are introduced as "best practices" in the company newsletter, and examples are shared throughout the company. In addition, by increasing opportunities for dialogue with directors and department heads regarding the workplace environment, we aim to further improve employee engagement by fostering a sense of unity and empathy for our vision and sense of fulfillment in a more open environment.

Promoting employee health

In order to protect the health of employees, Moriroku Group pays for annual physical examinations for employees aged 35 and older (including optional gastroscopy expenses) and focuses on cancer screenings as well as lifestyle-related diseases. The company also offers breast and cervical cancer screenings to female employees over the age of 35.

In addition, we support the creation of workplaces free of passive smoking and the graduation of smokers from the smoking habit (smoking cessation). As part of these efforts, we provide smoking cessation programs such as outpatient smoking cessation visits and other smoking cessation programs, and from July 2023, we have implemented a total smoking ban on the premises of our business sites during working hours.
